Introduction

China National Agrochemical Corporation (CNAC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina), subordinate to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. CNAC mainly engages in the management and operation of the agrochemical business of ChemChina, is the biggest pesticide production and sales corporation in China and the fifth biggest in the world.

CNAC now owns eight enterprises (Israel ADAMA Agricultural Solution Co. Ltd, Cangzhou Dahua Group Co. Ltd, Jingzhou Sanonda Holding Co. Ltd, Shandong Dacheng Agrochemical Co. Ltd., Jiangsu Anpon Electrochemical Co. Ltd., Jiangsu Huaihe Chemicals Co. Ltd., Anhui Petroleum & Chemical Group Co. Ltd., Anhui Province Chemical Industry Design Institute, Jiamusi Heilong Agricultural and Industrial Chemical Co. Ltd.) and holds shares in two listed companies (Cangzhou Dahua, Sanonda). Its businesses cover herbicides, insecticides, bactericides, plant growth regulators and dietary supplements, food additives, aromatic products, environmental protection services and more. It is capable of producing over 120 varieties of APIs and 900 varieties of preparations and has nearly 6,000 product registrations and over 6,000 trademarks in 120 countries
